In 1975, March developed the sports car 75S, designed to compete in the European 2-liter Sports Car Championship, and try to raise the sales level of sports cars, which drastically dropped in 1974 compared to 1973 performances. In 1974, the European 2-liter Sports Car Championship it had been won by the Alpine 441, equipped with the Renault V6 engine, which had won all the 7 races of the Championship. Getting back to having a competitive car would have been hard work for March technicians. Unfortunately, the 75S, which was a very good car, arrived a year late, when the 2-liter European Championship had already lost interest. The car had an aluminium monocoque which was the evolution of that of previous years, with double wishbones front suspension. The engines could be different and the monocoque was equipped with a tubular frame to support the engine and the rear suspension. The rear suspension was very classic, with lower parallel arms, upper arm and twin radius rods. Undoubtedly, the most innovative part was the aerodynamic design, which was developed in the wind tunnel of the automotive engineering consultancy MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association). The bodywork was characterized by dramatically angular shapes, with the flat upper part from which the characteristic cockpit cover rose and at the tail it had a full-width wing. The nose-cone was long and sharp and a high and thin air-duct was applied over the engine intake. Only 5 specimens were built, all in 1975. In 1975, a works March 75S was used both in the World Championship of Makes and in the European 2-liter Sports Car Championship, equipped with a Hart 420R engine and entered for the drivers David Morgan and John Lepp. The Madison Racing Team participated in the Le Mans 24 hours with a car equipped with a Ford Cosworth BDA engine, with the crew formed by Richard and Mike Knight and by Christian Mons who, although in last position, finished the race. Other cars ran with the BMW M12 engine. The best result was obtained by John Lepp, on April 13, 1975 with the overall victory at the 27th Daily Express International Trophy at Silverstone, a non-championship race for sports cars. The March 75S were used until the mid-1980s, with several modifications in various national championships.

 Nel 1975, la March sviluppò il modello 75S, pensato per competere nel Campionato Europeo Sport 2 litri, e cercare di rialzare il livello di vendita delle vetture sport, drasticamente calato nel 1974 rispetto alle performance del 1973. Nel 1974 il campionato Europeo Sport 2 litri era stato vinto dalle Alpine 441, equipaggiate con il motore Renault V6, che avevano vinto tutte le 7 prove disputate. Tornare ad avere una vettura competitiva, sarebbe stato un duro lavoro per i tecnici March. Purtroppo la 75S che era una vettura molto buona, arrivò con un anno di ritardo, quando ormai il Campionato Europeo 2-litri aveva perso interesse. La vettura, aveva una monoscocca in alluminio che era l’evoluzione di quella degli anni precedenti, con sospensioni anteriori a doppi triangoli sovrapposti. Le motorizzazioni potevano essere differenti e la monoscocca era dotata di un telaio tubolare per supportare il motore le sospensioni posteriori. Le sospensioni posteriori erano molto classiche, con bracci paralleli inferiori, braccetto superiore e due puntoni di reazione. La parte più innovativa era senza dubbio la veste aerodinamica, che fu sviluppata nella galleria del vento della società di consulenza di ingegneria automobilistica MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association). La carrozzeria era caratterizzata da forme decisamente spigolose, con la parte superiore piatta dalla quale si ergeva la caratteristica carenatura dell’abitacolo e in coda aveva un’ala a tutta larghezza. Il muso era lungo e affilato e sull’aspirazione del motore era stata applicata una presa d’aria alta e sottile. In tutto furono costruiti 5 esemplari, tutti nel 1975. Nel 1975, una March 75S ufficiale venne impiegata sia nel Campionato Mondiale Marche che nel Campionato Europeo Sport 2-litri, equipaggiata con un motore Hart 420R e affidata al piloti David Morgan e John Lepp. Il Madison Racing Team, partecipò alla 24 ore di Le Mans con una vettura equipaggiata con motore Ford Cosworth BDA, con l’equipaggio formato da Richard e Mike Knight e da Christian Mons che, sebbene in ultima posizione, conclusero la gara. Altre vetture corsero con il motore BMW M12. Il miglior risultato fu ottenuto da John Lepp, il 13 aprile 1975 con la vittoria assoluta al 27° Daily Express International Trophy a Silverstone, gara fuori campionato per vetture sport. Le March 75S sono state impiegate fino alla metà degli anni 80, con diverse modifiche in vari campionati nazionali.
