GB
Originally fitted with a standard spider body, 908/02-008 was used by the Porsche System Engineering works team at the Brands Hatch 6 Hours on April 13, 1969, where Gerhard Mitter and Udo Schütz finished third. For the remainder of 1969, the car was driven by David Piper, Alain De Cadenet, and Chris Craft, who won the Vila Real 6 Hours in Portugal. In 1970, 908/02-008 was passed to Alain De Cadenet's Evergreen team and was entered by Juan Manuel Fangio in the Daytona 24 Hours for De Cadenet and Carlos Pairetti, but an engine failure stopped the car before completing a single lap. After being upgraded to the “Flunder” specification, the car participated in the Brands Hatch 1000 km and was subsequently purchased by Bosch Racing Team Vienna, who used it in the Interserie championship in 1970 with Niki Lauda and in 1971 with Otto Stuppacher. The 908/02-008’s final race was the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Walter Roser and Otto Stuppacher qualified in twenty-first place and retired due to an accident after two hours of racing. The 908/02-008 was subsequently restored in the colours of Bosch Racing Team Vienna, as it was used by Niki Lauda.

IT
